Abstract

In this review different analytical technique used for the analysis of serratiopeptidase, a proteolytic enzyme, which has recently gained importance as an anti-inflammatory agent are discussed. Every work has been done to unite all the appropriate references to the degree possible. The review put emphasis on the merits and demerits of the given analytical procedures, which will assist to give insights into the methods used for estimation of serratiopeptidase as such, from clinical isolates and from its dosage forms. The review article gives the fundamental as well as highly developed techniques executed for the estimation of serratiopeptidase. The techniques given here have been established to be useful for determination of serratiopeptidase and may find purpose in analyzing other related proteases.
