The human immuno deficiency virus (HIV) is a lent virus that causes HIV infection and Aids. 		<description>{<![CDATA[A complete denture is a removable prosthesis used when all teeth within a jaw have been lost and need to be prosthetically replaced. Hypertension is a highly prevalent cardiovascular disease worldwide. Arterial hypertension is an important health issue and associated increase in risk of suffering cardiovascular disease in the form of angina, myocardial infarction, and stroke. The aim of the study is to assess the effect of antihypertensive on completely edentulous patients. The data was collected from the dental archives of patient management software patented by Saveetha Dental College. Total sample size included 34 patients who were completely edentulous and taking antihypertensive medication. Data was tabulated and imported to SPSS for statistical analysis. Descriptive statistics and chi square test were done. The result of the study shows that the most prevalent gender taking antihypertensive medication is male, the common age group is 61-70 years old. Results of the Chi square test shows positive correlation, but it is not significant since p=0.929. While providing prosthodontic care to the patients with hypertension, understanding the disease, its treatment and impact on patients ability to undergo and respond to dental care is mandatory. Within the limits of the study, the most common gender taking antihypertensive drugs were male patients within the age group of 61-70 years old who were completely edentulous.]]>}</description>

		<description>{<![CDATA[Endodontic instrument separation is an unfortunate complication which can hinder the cleaning and the cleaning and shaping procedure and affecting the outcome of the treatment. The cause of instrument separation is a multifactorial process and is caused by various factors in a dental college due to the operators undergoing a practical education, it is inevitable that separation of instruments occurs. This retrospective analysis aims to assess the commonly separated instrument and the site of occurrence in a dental college. A retrospective observational analysis was done using electronic data obtained from the DIAS system of Saveetha Dental college. A total of 20 samples was assessed. The data was taken from the time frame APRIL 2019 to APRIL 2020. The assessment was done radiographically. The tabulated data was analysed using SPSS (21.0) and the type of instrument separation and site of instrument separation occurrence. A chi square test was done to assess the correlation between the site of occurrence and type of instrument fractured and was found to be statistically insignificant (p>0.005). From the results achieved it was seen most separated instruments are rotary files and H Files. Location of instrument fracture was seen in coronal and middle third more often than apical third.]]>}</description>

		<description>{<![CDATA[The quinolone antibiotics arose in the early 1960s, with the first examples possessing a narrow spectrum of activity with unfavourable pharmacokinetic properties. Over time, the development of new quinolone antibiotics has led to improved analogues with an expanded spectrum and high efficacy. Nowadays, quinolones are widely used for treating a variety of infections. Quinolones are broad-spectrum antibiotics that are active against both Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria, including mycobacteria, and anaerobes. They exert their actions by inhibiting bacterial nucleic acid synthesis through disrupting the enzymes topoisomerase IV and DNA gyrase, and by causing breakage of bacterial chromosomes. However, bacteria have acquired resistance to quinolones, like other antibacterial agents, due to the overuse of these drugs. Mechanisms contributing to quinolone resistance are mediated by chromosomal mutations and/or plasmid gene uptake that alter the topoisomerase targets, modify the quinolone, and/or reduce drug accumulation by either decreased uptake or increased efflux. This research discusses the synthesis of novel derivatives of quinolones by novel strategy and their molecular docking studies.]]>}</description>

		<description>{<![CDATA[Inflammatory bowel disorder is related to situations ulcerative colitis and Crohns disorder; however, its motive is unknown and the infection may be because of changing of intestine homeostasis with innate immunity performs a crucial position in spotting pathogens, hence keeping intestinal homeostasis. In 1985, Christiane Nsslein-Volhard and Eric Wieschaus named it toll-like receptors because of the toll gene recognized in Drosophila. Toll-like receptors are known for their homeostasis of the immune system. The toll-like receptors from one to thirteen are expressed in humans and mice. Toll-like receptors signalling pathways are the myeloid differentiation factor 88-dependent pathway and TIR-domain-containing adapter-inducing interferon--dependent pathway, ends in the induction or suppression of inflammatory response. It is important to keep homeostasis in the intestine and targeting toll-like receptor signalling has been a challenge, in treating many diseases. With new emerging nano-inhibitors, small molecule inhibitors, oligonucleotide, lipid- analogs, microRNAs that inhibits TLR signalling, to control excessive inflammation can we expect a new ray of hope emerging in the future?]]>}</description>
